FAQ

Q: Why hire a personal trainer?
A: A fitness professional can benefit anyone looking to improve their health and physical well-being. Whether you are a novice exerciser or an elite athlete, a trainer can design and supervise a program that will get your working safely and effectively towards your goals.

Q: What does a session consist of?
A: A typical session is about an hour in length and is tailored around your goals. Strength training, cardiovascular conditioning and flexibility are just a few of the areas that are addressed.

Q: How many times a week should I meet with my trainer?
A: The number of sessions you meet with the trainer per week is individualized for each client. Clients that are very committed and able to follow "homework" assisgnments on their own might only need a once a week appointment. Typically the average person meets with the trainer 2-3 times a week. For those looking to make major lifestyles changes and need that extra supervision, 5 times a week may be the best prescription.

Q: Do I need equipment or a lot of room at my house to train?
A: Little to no equipment is neccessary to get started. We can easily put you through the appropriate routine in very little space. Most clients train right in their living room.

Q: Will diet and nutrition be addressed during my session?
A: Nutrition and a proper diet is key to getting results. Diet is an important part in the big picture for improved health and aesthetics. We do not prescribe a diet but instead work with clients to edit their current eating. A food journal is the first step to making improvements.
